About Me

Amelia Ray is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She works with those struggling with self-image and self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and Highly Sensitive People (HSP). She has extensive experience with those experiencing social challenges and/or are on the autism spectrum, with 15 years of experience in this field. Amelia uses approaches from Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and the curriculum from SMART Recovery to address addictive behaviors. She incorporate her BCBA background in behavioral science, and knowledge of neuroscience to support mental and behavioral awareness and change.

Amelia makes clients feel comfortable by providing space for them to be themselves and to feel acknowledged, listened to, and understood. Therapy is a vulnerable experience and a brave endeavor, and Amelia strives to create a space that allows a person to feel positive about their decision to attend therapy.
